Dry4Good, an industrial FoodTech company specializing in high-value natural ingredients, has built a proprietary precision-drying technology — and an industrial facility — to solve this differently. Traditional ingredient processing often relies on chemical transformation that alters the original characteristics of raw materials. Instead, Dry4Good’s technology removes water while keeping the ingredient’s aromatic compounds, natural pigments and nutrients largely intact. As water leaves, these qualities do not disappear. Instead, they concentrate – giving food manufacturers a genuine alternative to ultra-processing.

The outcome is a new class of industrial ingredients that are concentrated versions of the fresh product: a dried strawberry that actually tastes of strawberry; a tomato powder with the colour and aroma of fresh tomato; beetroot naturally colouring cake icing a rich purple; raspberries bringing natural acidity, flavour and colour to confectionery.

Three years after opening Europe’s first factory dedicated to this type of production, Dry4Good has secured €5 million to scale up production—a sixteen-fold increase in annual capacity, from 50 to 800 tonnes—to meet growing demand from leading international food manufacturers.
